Road Maintenance in Crawford County

The Crawford County Road Commission is responsible for maintaining approximately 180 miles of Primary Roads, 525 miles of Local roads, and 103 miles of State Highway.

Road maintenance is comprised of blading, brining, patching, plowing and roadside brush control of all primary and local roads, construction and road improvement projects of Primary Roads, and Winter and Summer maintenance of State Trunklines. Construction and road improvement projects of Local Roads is contracted through us by individual township according to the Crawford County Road Commission Local Road Cost Sharing Agreement.
